Adding a water feature to your garden setting is growing in popularity.  It is one of the best ways to create a peaceful outdoor space full of tranquility.  One of the easiest and least inexpensive ways to add flowing water to your garden is with a solar garden fountain.

Water fountains have been used since ancient Roman times.  They were used for drinking, bathing, and the enjoyment of listening to refreshing sounds of nature.  Now we have the technology to efficiently operate a fountain with the power of the sun and the uses are just as endless as they were back then.  Not only do solar water fountains provide soothing sounds of flowing water in your landscape, they can be used to create a unique function in your garden.

Adding a water feature can rehydrate an area.  To do this with an electrical water pump would cost quite a bit to install and even more to operate.  Solar garden fountains are very easy to install and operate from electricity generated from the sun.

Some solar fountains have a battery pack that will charge during the day and operate the fountain at night.  A light sensor in the pack automatically turns the fountain on at dusk and can provide many hours of evening enjoyment.

Fountains can come in many shapes and styles to fit any function you with to accomplish.  There are cascading fountains that constantly provide soothing sounds of water in nature.  Other solar fountains can be used in bird baths or to create an upright spray.  If you already have standing water in your landscape, like a pool or pond, a fountain can be added to liven it up a bit.

Are you looking to dress up your landscape with some unique garden décor?  Choose a solar garden statue.  Statues can really change the look of your landscaping.  They can add elegance and provide a traditional look.  Some are whimsical and can accent a theme or give a splash of fun to your garden.  Either way, select a statue with a solar panel and you will be able to enjoy it any time of day.

Solar garden statuary is very easy to care for and place in the landscape.  They can be cleaned with a soft damp cloth and turn on and off automatically with a built in sensor.  You do need to charge the statue in full sun for a day before enjoying the soft light hues at night, and they do need to be placed in an area that gets plenty of sunlight in the garden.

Decorating your garden with these figurines is fun.  They are also relatively inexpensive and versatile.  They come in many different shapes and sizes.  Some of the most popular are the garden gnomes.  Gnomes were originally placed in gardens to protect them from evil spirits, but they also look great day or night.  Solar fairies are also a common choice for garden statuary.  Animals are also depicted in solar figurines.  Dogs, frogs, turtles, snails and squirrels are among some solar statues that can be easily found.

Whatever your style, you can easily accent your garden décor with solar garden statues.
